Nice restaurant but a little pricey so be prepared.
We went for Taco Tuesday on the lower deck on the lake. It was very good.
The food is great at this place and all of the servers are super nice and helpful

I think the food was overpriced for the small portions. The lasagne was $33 and consisted of maybe 6 bites? Their speciality pizza came out with freezing cold cheese plopped on top of it, which made the whole pizza cold and gross. The lake view was nice but I have had far better Italian food in North County! So disappointing.

Beautiful lake view to enjoy early dinner.
We had a family dinner here and the service was absolutely outstanding. Michael was our server and he nailed it. The food was also spot on. Great Italian food and amazing service!!
This place is a hidden gem!! The food was amazing, Michael was awesome! He knew what wines to pair with our meals. They also have the coolest pizza oven I have seen, looked like it was all tiled in gold.

Server was great, he is italian, friendly, knew everything about the food and suggested good plates .
My Arabiata pasta sauce was too spicy for my taste.
Very disappointing. We’ve been here a few times and was happy but there has been big changes. We loved their lasagna. They used to big twice as high and neatly layered but this was much smaller. We’re not wine drinkers so I’ve water is what we asked for. Simple water and I asked for lemon. You would think if you’re paying $33 for a smaller slab of lasagna they would give you ice in your water and you wouldn’t have to ask for lemon because that would be complimentary. The waiter Stan has the personality of a wet towel. Very very disappointed and we’ll not be going back. The lasagna at Olive Garden is so much better and you get all the soup/salad and bread sticks you want for much less than Amalfi’s. Heck, Trader Joe’s frozen lasagna is much better. Bye bye Amalfi.

Great place nice for fine dining above and casual below. Makes us feel like we are not in Southern California.

I had one of the best Italian meals I’ve ever had at Amalfi. It started with an amazing cocktail, then a super fresh Mediterranean salad, and finally a fantastic pizza. But, besides the food, the service was superb. I happened to be solo that night and they treated me like family.
Later that week, the rest of my family had lunch there, and they were equally impressed. The next time I’m near San Marcos, I’ll make it a point to eat there again.
