Nice to have a Filipino restaurant in north county. Lots of parking. There are tables inside and outside. You order and pay before you sit.We ordered:-pork sisig w egg, comes w rice ($14.45)-oxtail kare kare w garlic fried rice ($20.95)-beef caldereta w garlic fried rice ($14.45)-cebu lechon 1/2 lb ($13.45)Their specials and signature dishes come with rice. Extra for garlic rice. If you eat there, the dishes are plated on real dinner plates which gives you a sense of a formal family dining experience. We also go complimentary salt and pepper chips. If you live in north county, you can get your Filipino cravings satisfied. I still believe the best sisig is in Mira Mesa. The cebu lechon was my favorite here. The ambiance here is quite fun. Filipino pop songs blasting through the speakers and the workers are singing along while they work. They offer party trays and catering.

The pork sisig was perfect. Do ask for the authentic version which is the tender / non-fried one. Its sourness is at a perfect level which goes really well with the bell peppers and onion. Obviously you'd consume the sisig with rice but a bit of the grease mixed into the rice offers excellent flavor. There was a banner in the store saying hola-hola was chosen as the best dessert in SD 2021, so I tried it. I was blown away by it. Definitely come visit some time if you haven't before.

I never write reviews but thought I might for this restaurant because I’m 50/50 on everything and think a little detail will help others. The food was good although some dishes salter than others and they all had the same flavor as if everything was made with the same season all type spice it’s not a bad thing but after a while and when it’s in everything from the noodles to on top of the shrimp it got a little tongue blanding their brown sugar drink is amazing free refills on that..the complimentary potato chips were my favorite. The service was also 50/50 it was my family’s 1st time there, we’re not too familiar with Filipino food so when asking questions about the dishes it was hard to understand what the dishes were so we just went with the big family platter the woman taking our order was not accommodating but our waiter was the biggest sweetheart so she made up for the woman taking our order. The atmosphere was cute I had to grab my own high chair from a corner of the restaurant and I almost dropped a big banner and people were sitting fairly close so it could have ended bad I hoped they could have gottten it to prevent that. The water cups were very small but when we asked for water they brought it out. Overall it was a gooe experience most staff was friendly I’d come back to see if the 3.5 turns into a 5 for 5 people the total came out to 115 we all got very full 3.5 stars here.

It's freaking delicious. My mom said she felt like she was eating back home in Philippines. I dont have pictutres of my food because I was so hungry. We had the Shrimp sinigang, Boneless Bangus, & Pork sisig. All dishes came with rice. I'm excited to try new menu items.

We are visitors in San Diego and were craving for some filipino food. We decided to go to this restaurant due to it’s 4.5 star google review. We ordered Chicken Siopao, bulalo, pancit combo and pork sisig. The siopao was served cold. I informed the cashier and was offered to microwave the food.Next were the rest of our food. The sisig was dry and overcook. Not sure if its their style but the egg on was cook over hard. (Normally, its a runny sunny side up egg for customer to mix with sisig). The pancit combo was bland. The bulalo was the best tasting dish out of what we ordered but the bone marrow (which was “saved for last”) was still frozen. I respectfully brought the issue to the staff’s attention. She eventually offered to heat up bone marrow but we assumed that they will just microwave the food so we declined. We were given a MINI leche flan for the cold bone marrow to be shared between 4 people. Although the gesture was there, the way it was delivered lack sincerity. The ambiance was good but service was minimum. I wish our concerns were address at a more hospitable manner. Overall, we will not go back again.

Food is always great and fresh. Table service is usually prompt, very apologetic when orders get backed up. Don't mind the mismatched tables and chairs, it is very much in line with the culture I grew up with.

Food was good, I like it a lot. Since National City is too far away to go for Filipino food this is close by here in North County.
