Was so excited to have my sister try these cookies for the first time, well there was a long hair in one of the cookies like stuck inside the dough it was obvious we couldn’t have placed it there, anyway we went back and let them know Khalid or Khalil said he was sorry about that! Lol unreal! Absolutely gross and infuriating

The most delicious cookies on the planet - the taste and texture are sheer perfection! And to top it off, locally-owned by a kind and hardworking person! Cannot recommend this place highly enough- I will be returning again and again!

MAYA’S COOKIES ARE AMAZING!! I cannot stress this enough, these cookies are possibly the best I’ve ever had. The cookies were great! They even lasted my family a few days! As someone with nut allergies I was happy to see that I was able to have some of these cookies because many mainstream cookie stores use almond flour or have cross contamination. If you have nut allergies, are vegan, or even just want to try a great cookie, I recommend this place!!

The cookies taste good but whatever ingredients that are used make you feel nauseous, tired and gross afterwards. It's worse than a sugar cookie made with milk and eggs. Unfortunate. I had such high hopes for these cookies but it's not good. I bought multiple cookies too. It wasn't an isolated experience. I tried them on different days just to be sure. There is something wrong with them. :(
The cookies were great, and the brown sugar butterscotch is an absolute must try! The cookies were more on the crunchy side than the fudgey side but still delicious
some of the best vegan cookies i’ve ever had!! all the flavors have been incredible
Maya’s Cookies in San Diego and San Marcos, CA, is a true delight for anyone who loves vegan treats! My friend Carlette recently surprised me with a box of their cookies, and I was blown away by the quality and flavor.
Highlight: The Lemon Chiffon Cookie ?
The Lemon Chiffon Cookie is hands down my favorite! It’s light, airy, and bursting with a refreshing lemon flavor. The texture is perfect—soft and chewy with a slight crisp on the edges. The lemon zest adds a wonderful tang that makes each bite a little piece of heaven. It’s the perfect balance of sweet and tart, making it an absolute must-try!
Maya’s Cookies offers a fantastic variety of other flavors as well, each one crafted with care and attention to detail. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always ready to help you find your new favorite cookie. Plus, knowing that everything is vegan makes the experience even better!
If you’re in the San Diego or San Marcos area, do yourself a favor and visit Maya’s Cookies. You won’t be disappointed!

Restaurantji Recommends
Very disappointed with this company. I love their cookies and order online a few times a year from here. When I placed a recent order that was accepted by their system, it turned out there was an error on their side; however, they wanted to charge me extra for their error instead of honoring the order placed.

Scrumptious cookies! Stopped in because we were craving dessert on our road trip, and so happy we did! You would never know these are vegan! We liked much better than Crumbl and other thick boi donut competitors.
Where’ve you been all my life?! So yummy good cookies!
Definitely gotta try them out when I am in the area next time.

The cookie we got was actually light and delicious. I didn't feel like it was overwhelming at all.The only thing is that it's only card. No cash. Otherwise it would have been a 5
