Walk up to order. They had good takeout business going the day we were there. (Sunday) We ate in. The sandwiches and onion rings were good. Made in a different style. Atmosphere was minimal, but A/C was working well.

I have been patronizing Philly Franks for many years. I went to college just outside Philadelphia and fell in love with the cheesesteak and the hoagie. After college and the Navy, I returned to California and found that there were only a few places that served a decent Philly Cheesesteak and was very happy to find one in my new hometown of San Marcos. This place is about as authentic as any Philly steak and hoagie shop you find in Philadelphia or the Main Line. You have a lot...
