I placed an order online for the Mario Cart birthday ice cream cake and the following morning the location owner called and notified me that they don’t have the little Mario Cart figurines and before calling me, he called 2 other BR franchises and they didn’t have the figurines either. But we didn’t give up and he had other ideas about who he can call to ask if they have them. He called all the way across the Bay. Ultimately he was able to find us the figurines and made everything so perfect! Thank you for your efforts! I really appreciate it and it made the birthday boy very very happy!

Anyone who says Baskin Robbins is less than 5 star ice cream is a liar and cheat! The ice cream is always true to their roots and the customer service was friendly and attentive. Lars and James were great to work with, a great duo and a hoot to boot. Find a parking space and saddle up to 31 delicious flavors!

We ordered a small 9" cake from the San Mateo location. The cake turned out just as we asked and was very delicious. I dropped one star because of the lack of communication. I called this location multiple times and nobody answered. I finally went in to talk about my cake options and ordered online. I called again to see if the cake was ready and no answer. Once I picked up the cake I wasn't given any instructions on how long to leave it out before cutting. I called again, no answer. I called 2 other locations and got 2 different opinions on how long to leave out the cake. Turns out the instructions were of no help. Great cake. Strange experience.
Dropped in here on Sunday night while visiting San Mateo. Hadn't been in a Baskin-Robbins in many years, but I've always preferred their ice cream to cold Stone, which I find rather oily. They were somehow out of both Oreo cookie ice cream and hot fudge sauce, so whoever is ordering their supplies needs to up their game. But the outgoing employee Teresa was so upbeat and friendly that I decided to stay and have a three scoop sundae with caramel sauce. It was delicious, and her banter was a lot of fun. With 30 wonderful flavors I look forward to my next visit to try out a few more!

We went last night around 9 pm. There was only two workers on a Saturday night. We ordered four of their one scoop waffle cones. Their mint ice cream was good, but their snickerdoodle ice cream was very bland and didn't have like... any snickerdoodle taste at all. Kinda just like a chocolate ice cream. Their waffle cones were very stale, and they didn't have any waffle cups. It seems like they make their cones in the morning or afternoon HOURS before they are serving them. And not to mention, just an hour after eating, my boyfriend threw up, and the rest of us had diarrhea (we are still having upset stomachs ever since last night). I would not come here again.

Ordered 2 custom ice cream cakes for my son's birthday party. One Mario race car cake and another Warriors basketball cake. The Warriors cake was supposed to be an edible photo print, but they were not able to print it. The manager called and explained it to me, but said they could decorate it with frosting instead. It turned out so beautiful! Even better than the photo cake. I wish I had a good photo to share, but we cut and ate it too quickly. It was also easy to order, pick up and super delicious! I think the cakes also provide a lot more servings than what is listed.
