The wait staff was fabulous and the fish tacos were awesome. Just spicy enough.My waitress was helpful and pleasant and knew when I needed something. Fish Tacos were delicious and had a wonderful spicy bite. I had black beans substituted for the re-fried beans and those were very tasty. The rice tasted freshly made. The atmosphere was cozy and quiet. Very nice.

I ordered a late lunch to go on a weekday. Double enchiladas with refried beans & rice. Overall, a 10 out of 10. I know they've been there years. Quality is consistently good. Though I only went to the reception counter to pick up my order, the atmosphere was positive. I was only 10 minutes away & waited a few minutes after parking. Their receptionist was friendly & smiled, as did her co-workers who helped her. I'd definitely return for a sit down meal with friends & family. I know the local neighborhood loves this place. Parking lot is usually full during dinner hour which tells you...you'll leave feeling full and ready for a nap.

We've been steady patrons of Celia's for a long time! Service is great - very fast - and the staff treats us like family and always accommodates our special requests. We love their food and the festive atmosphere. My twins celebrate their "family" birthday there every year!!

Authentic experience and in San Mateo- salsa rocks- fajitas with shrimp have lots of carrots in them (interesting!) - spicy margarita was a 6
Had lunch there with one of my sisters, and my parents. It was the first time all of us had been there together in decades! Food was great as always, our servers were attentive and helpful, and just loved the whole atmosphere!

We haven't been to Celia's for a few years. The service is still great but the quality of food has declined in our opinion. Rice and beans are still great but meat and shrimp were overcooked and very tough in both dishes that we ordered.

First time trying out this Celia'a location. Nice booths and decor. A raised area that would be good for a group to have a gathering. Service was friendly and efficient, especially for a lone diner like me. The pre dinner warm chips and salsa helped satisfy my hunger prior to my meal. I ordered the big dinner plate with shredded beef taco, enchilada, and a chile relleno. I'm checking places out for a possible retirement gathering of coworkers. Food arrived quickly and was fresh and very tasty. One corner has a partially walled in area with a raised floor for groups. I enjoyed my dinner thoroughly...stuffing myself so much I couldn't manage dessert...this time! I'll be back!
