Went on a friend's recommendation for the clam and garlic pizza. Also got their combination with it.

Overall it isn't amazing but it was novel. Pizza was solid, above average for sure though. Nothing about it was bad just isn't a top 5 pizza for me.

Pricing is fair as it comes in 4 or 8 pieces so worth a try if local.

Great food. You can't go wrong with golden boy. The only reason I can't go 5 stars is the original goldenboy in San Francisco northbeach. There's something about the crust made there. Very special. Maybe it's the pans or oven, but definitely distinct from the other two shops. They will just have to borrow some of the seasoned pans. Their service was excellent. Craving some amazing pizza? Look no further than Golden Boy! I'm a huge fan, and this new takeout location makes it even easier to get my fix. Everything is made fresh and cooked to order, so you know it's going to be good. Golden Boy Pizza is a must-try in the Bay Area.
