I'm glad to separate the restaurant from the take out section. But the food is very will made and delicious quality is the same.

Decent value for money. Would be irresponsible to rate any higher than 3 stars. Nothing wrong with the joint, nothing great either. Need to rethink the takeout packaging-everything leaks. Suggests area could really use another Chinese restaurant. 3 stars.

3.5 stars but rounding up to 4! This is a yummy Cantonese restaurant in San Mateo. We came here by chance and I was pleasantly surprised! I'll definitely be returning here in the future. We had a group of 6 and had no issues getting a table right away on a late Saturday morning. We ordered the chicken and sweet corn soup, honey walnut prawns, pork belly with pickled vegetables, chicken and eggplant with salted fish clay pot, and garlic pea sprouts. As a Cantonese person, I had high expectations. Everything was tasty and reminded me of food that my family would cook, especially the pork belly with preserved veg. The pork belly was so tender and juicy, and I love the taste of Cantonese pickled vegetables. The soup, clay pot and pea sprouts were all good and standard. The honey walnut prawns were big and had a delightful crunch that I was not expecting! I would definitely come here again and try more dishes. Happy to know there's a good Cantonese spot in SM so close to me!

This restaurant is slowly becoming one of my go-to faves for Chinese food. Just like what other people said on here, their salt and pepper fish is crazy delicious. Crunchy on the outside, soft and flaky on the inside. Big portion, enough for at least 2 meals and even tastes good reheated. I also tried the honey walnut shrimp and it's very tasty as well.

Very good Cantonese food, and one of the few places that still makes Chinese whole crispy chicken (my son's favorite)!

Nice family run restaurant! Peking pork chop was nicely fried and flavored, clay pots r always good. Crunchy noodle sauce is a little glutinous but flavor is also good. We try to order here 2-3 monthly when craving for authentic Chinese food!

Nice and reasonable price Chinese restaurant. They serve Chinese and Hongkong-style dishes. The food is good but a bit oily.

I went with my dad because we were craving for Chinese food. The foods were good and large portion. My dad is a chef, even he liked their food. Clean interior, friendly staffs. We will definitely come again. Thank you.

Food is okay, bill gets larger. We were there 2 weeks ago same 3 lunch specials but this time it's $2 more. Really don't like that they add 15% to our bill. Even though there were only 3 of us.

The food was very good, loved the combination chow mein with shrimp, chicken, veggies, beef and seasonings. And the walnut prawns very tasty and also the white chicken with snow peas, will be back again.

The dishes we ordered were subpar. The rice is reused and stale. I let the waitress know and she dismissed it by saying no one else has a problem. Won't be going back

Fabulous food; authentic Chinese food! So tired of eating at places that says it's Chinese food and it isn't but this place is authentic. Had Tofu with slices of beef in gravy and mushrooms (this was to die for - a big hit with everyone), Beef Chow Fun (this was soooo good), Lemon Chicken (cooked in a batter with a taste of lemon), Pork Fried Rice - everyone devoured this and Honey Walnut Prawns. Service was excellent (was automatically served ice water - we ordered other drinks too), they also wrapped our leftovers for us - normally restaurant personnel would dump the boxes and food trays and make us do it ourselves but these folks graciously took the dishes and packed them for us. Was very pleased and left them a nice tip. *Highly* recommend that you try out this place; you'll be pleasantly surprised. Doesn't look like much on the outside but inside the restaurant is a pretty good size to have a family banquet.
