True, CA quality, Chinese fast food for your SOUL. Love the way you have any meat with any sauce. No notes or warnings. Just everything you want from Chinese fast food in the Bay Area as a native.

Love the Singapore noodle and other dishes here. Food always good and consistent. The couple who run this are nice people too.

Ordered through a delivery service. They made it really fast, had good flavor in each of the three dishes (chicken and two veggie), large portions. We did make our own rice to save money, but we usually do that. Will return.

Food is greasy and dried out. Original owners sold to Andy C. The food is awful. Don't eat here.
Low quality food. Meat with bones still in when they weren’t supposed to be, spices and sauces that were poorly prepared. Reheated food made days before. Unsanitary and got someone sick. A painful mistake and waste of money. Eat elsewhere, I implore you.

Bland and salty, doesn't give rice with $15 dishes. Smells like urine in the restaraunt.

Been going here for years and order the same dishes which are tasty and consistent — salt and pepper pork chop, szechuan tofu and fish fillet with black bean sauce. Owners are very friendly and service is quick.
This is for dub! Respect people!

The owner was sweet and attentive.
He showed us an album of what each dish looked like to help us with our decision process.

Ping's Bistro was packed so I came here instead. What a mistake! Hunan Shrimp was surgery sweet and Salt Pepper Pork Chops was all salt and no pepper (and unnaturally pasty white). Rice was old, reheated from days ago. Funny how they serve dishes in to go containers? And also odd that I was only customer on a Sunday night. The table felt like it was going to collapse. Worn out chairs. Lesson learned.

Came here yesterday as we by accident mistook it for Hot Wok Bistro which is by far the best Chinese food I’ve had. But this place, Hot Wok Cafe, with a name that’s hella similar is the worst Chinese food I’ve had. Weird huh? One name on either ends of a Chinese food spectrum.
We ordered Mongolian beef & vegetable fried rice = worst $36 I don’t in a restaurant. The meat I wasn’t even sure was meat and the rice was stale as stale can be… hella hard. Won’t eat here agaaaaaaaain. Thankfully we didn’t get upset stomached, but I was waiting for it.
There was something weird we noticed and want to know if others have noticed it or were we hallucinating. The waitress who took our order, her mouth would open to talk, she wouldn’t move it but full sentences words was coming out, like there was someone in her mouth doing the talking. The weirdest thing. I thought I was hallucinating and later when I was talking about it with my husband he said he thought he saw that too but thought he was tired. I need a third opinion!
But my suggestion wouldn’t be to eat here… just go in and ask some questions.
