Fantastic flavors with a very friendly staff. The shrimps empanada made me feel like I was in Mexico. Chilaquiles and machine had a very authentic flavor. Put this one on your list.

Very disappointing. The coffee was only lukewarm and my order came with several items omitted - salmon eggs Benedict with no salmon (or spinach or tomatoes).

Wow! Thank you Karla for your amazing service, kindness, and attention. We came here on thanksgiving morning and ate the red chilaquiles with machaca, huevos rancheros, and a fruit waffle. Every thing was flavorful and delicious. The food came out quickly. This was our first time trying Sinaloan machaca and it was absolutely delicious. The best part though, was how kind and friendly Karla (our server) was. We love when we are greeted with a smile. They were playing Juan Gabriel so that made our meal even better!

First time at this place and so happy that I found it, the menu looks really good , I tried the chilaquiles con carne and a michelada , one of the best I ever had, definitely coming back.

This restaurant is very inconsistent, it’s a hit or miss.
We’ve ordered take out and they got the order incorrect. We didn’t order waffles instead we ordered Nutella crepes. Sour cream of the chilaquiles supposed to be on the side.

Casa de los Huevos is a wonderful family-owned restaurant with incredibly friendly service that makes you feel right at home. I ordered the chilaquiles which were absolutely delicious, while my wife enjoyed the fresh and flavorful shrimp ceviche. Their mango margarita was amazingly good - perfectly balanced and refreshing! We'll definitely be returning to support this lovely local business. New gem in San Mateo.

I was recently introduced to this restaurant by a co worker and I am so thankful that she did because this is now my new favorite place to eat and have a drink,,the mango margarita is now my go to drink,,I really like that they used real riped mango to make it,,I also had their Mexican inspired sushi with sesame soy sauce dip and the so very fresh and tangy ceviche with shrimp and octopus..I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu!!

New restaurant in San Mateo, located on the busy El Camino Real next to the popular Taste & Glory. This unassuming restaurant serves traditional American and Mexican breakfast items, and the delicious Quesabirria is a must-try! There are also many choices for lunch and dinner, such as sushi, burgers, sandwiches, salads, in addition to a wide variety of Mexican dishes. Lots of items for kids as well. Solid addition to the San Mateo food scene. Fast and friendly service. Free parking lot in the back fills up quickly, but there’s free street parking within a 5-minute walk in the residential streets.

Call before you go. Hours say 8 am to 9 pm every day, but they weren't open at 8:45 am on Tuesday.

Had brunch with friends here yesterday and we all left very pleased with our experience. I had the Chilaquiles in red sauce with chorizo while my friends ordered the Huevos Rancheros and Quesabirria. Everything was really yummy including the complimentary pancakes they gave us. Another plus was the excellent service we received from the staff. I can't wait to go back and try the other dishes in their menu.
