My boyfriend and I have tried this restaurant at least 2 to 3 times and it has been awful each time unfortunately. The atmosphere is extremely loud with hardly any people there, the food took over 30 to 45 mins to arrive. Once the food arrived, I asked what the sauce was and he didn't know. The udon soup was way too salty that I got sick, and my boyfriend's shrimp was not properly de-veined, which is gross. When we complained, they tried to make us pay in full, but we only paid for what we had: the lychee Martini. Which for it being extremely small was $17. Ridiculous.
Family-run restaurant with a unique selection of Asian & American comfort food.Ordered:Loco MocoGarlic Tiger Prawns with garlic noodlesTeriyaki salmon bowlDishes were large so we had plenty of leftovers to take home.Everything is made from scratch, so don't expect everything to come out fast. If you're looking for quality comfort food...this spot is definitely worth trying.Great place to go with friends for a drink as wellWill definitely come back to try their popcorn chicken and kinchee fried rice.
Wonderful service & delicious dishes! The portion size is big & the quality & presentation for all the dishes were an A+ Definitely recommend & will come back
Beef noodle soup is hearty and filling
Was in the area and never really gravitated towards fusion restaurants. However this place way exceeded my expectations.Service from Sunny was attentive, friendly and personable. The clean and spacious restaurant was also not too crowded mid afternoon. The new owners that took over the restaurant decided to do fusion because she genuinely enjoys cooking food from different cuisines. You can tell because she tries to plate everything immaculately. We ordered the truffle fries, japanese tiger prawn curry rice, grilled skewers and the toast. The food was filling and all reasonably priced. Highly recommend the grilled skewers that were really flavorful, and you can tell the marinate that went into it just from its chargrilled aroma. Can't wait to come back on weekend nights for their special menu item.
Fantastic gem of a place in San Mateo. Ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. Great texture and flavor. The classy vibe of the restaurant doesn’t hurt either.
Aesthetically outstanding. Shrimp pictured was a bit overcooked. Noodles could’ve used a little bit more garlic in my opinion. price was GREAT. We found this place to be very clean.
The food and service here is top notch! We decided to stop in after seeing it a few times on walks. It was a real treat- attentive staff, amazing fried chicken, and chill vibes. Prices were reasonable, too. Definitely coming back soon!
Kid-friendliness: Lots of space and seating, even for larger families.
Parking: Parking can fill up quick along the street so grab a spot the moment you see one
New owners just took over the restaurant! Place has a nice full bar and roomy seating area. Had the fried chicken sandwich with truffle fries and an old fashion. Everything was delicious and my drink was on point! I was also served cucumber infused water, which is always great for a warm day ?.
Food, drinks, what more could we ask for 25th Ave? Great service, friend chicken sandwich and the rose gin drink (I forgot the name) was perfect!

Came on a Thursday evening. Quite a selection of Scotch, bourbon, rye and Japanese whisky. Cocktails were decent (ordered an Old Fashioned and a Whiskey Sour). Food was in tapa-style portions. Between the two of us, we ordered 5 dishes and the Clover Leaf cocktail as refreshing dessert. Would recommend so they stay open, but not be so busy that we can't just walk in and get service. ;-)
Go for the ambiance and cool drinks, as the eats were merely overpriced comfort food. Kimchi fried rice was a standout item. Date night, not family night
Good food
Recommend to check out this place. Everything we tried was quite delicious. The popcorn chicken and garlic noodles were the highlights - very flavorful though a bit on the greasy side. The cocktails were solid. Street parking only - but there were plenty of spots on a Thursday night (and more around the corner).
Quiet (on the Saturday I went around 8pm) place to grab a drink and some plates to share. The food was solid, but not mind blowing. Service was very attentive and helpful. Would necessarily go back for the food, but might consider it for the ambience.
