I had ordered the “Mike” sandwich which is the chicken pesto. OMG, did someone drop the entire salt bottle in the sandwich?? This prompted my review. Way too salty like drinking ocean water. I should check my blood pressure. That pesto is going to send me to the blood dialysis center. Maybe it was a bad batch of this particular pesto sauce. I had the same before and it was not unexpectedly salty. Sadly I could not finish the sandwich. Not sure if there is a minimum salt measurement for given amount of pesto. This one was off the charts.
Also seems like the toppings are less such as chicken which is the main ingredient. So less from last time that I had to order “extra meat” to get what should be a “normal” sandwich. Even the “extra meat” felt so little. Again to pay what should be “normal,” Really Mr Pickles. Felt like the sandwich shop was “going cheap”.” Their Sandwich costs are already at industry’s standard prices compared to other shops. Don’t cheap on the meat.
Also: helpful tip - have an option for customers to check if they want the inside of the bread removed.

Placed an order to pick up, didn’t take too long and it was busy! Everyone really enjoyed their sandwiches.
Was closed, despite indicated should have been open.
Every neighborhood needs a reliable sandwich spot and Mr Pickles fills that role perfectly - lots of options with quirky/local names, fresh ingredients, and fast service. I like the chicken pesto on a wheat roll.
Great atmosphere and sandwiches, gave my friend a sandwich on the house.
What a great old place and delicious pickle!
