Nice outdoor patio and very friendly service,hey accommodated several special requests. Our group had a variety of dishes from bento box to nigiri and rolls and they were all very good!
Fresh and tasty sushi and udon dishes. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is wonderful. If you're in downtown San Mateo come and eat. You can sit outside and people watch.
I do enjoy their Love Boat and Happy Boat meals. Lots of flavors to savor. Their fish is always fresh. This is my local favorite in San Mateo.

Solid 4 stars (which is above average) in my book, but I want there to be more patrons so I'll give them 5.Only a few ppl there on a weekday lunch. Ordered a roll + hand roll. It came with hot tea and edamame on the house. Rice was good - not mushy and flavored well. Roll was large (but still good rice to other ingredient ratio) and their ingredients were fresh.
