Our server, Miriam L, did a great job! She is nice and attentive (but not tooo attentive). She has good moxie! The manager turned off the speakers in the back room where our group of eleven met, so we could visit all around the table, which is a big part of what we like. Everyone seemed to LOVE their food.

I used to love Pacific Catch for their great salads with ahi and edamame and black rice, etc. tonight I was told they don't serve them anymore :( The food they serve is OK, with portions that seem too big or too small. It's a great disappointment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The food was prepared excellently and served promptly. Kudos to our server Everardo. His entree recommendations were spot on and service was very friendly, attentive and on point. We also liked the restaurant decor, ambience and location very much. Overall, we had a great experience and will not hesitate to dine there again.

We were seated in a back room with a huge family 8'adukts at one table 10 kids at another. the noise level was painful . We asked to be moved but then our new waitress was impacted . Slow slow slow service to place order but then the food came quickly . It's not the restaurants fault that we were seated next to 18 noisy people or that the kids thought it was fun to fall off their chairs but it certainly wasn't a pleasant evening out for us .

I used it with two members on a business trip. First, I ordered an appetizer platter called PUPU PLATTER. It included avocado and tuna dip and coconut fried shrimp, and it was delicious. Next, I ordered FEATURED ENTREES. This is grilled amberjack and salmon with shrimp. You can have two side dishes, so I went with Thai Brussels Sprouts and Mashed Potato. All of them were very delicious.

Food tasted good but were not worth their price. Salad bowls similar to california fish grill and sushi not even as good as regular sushi but costing maybe 50% more. Also, the lowest tipping was 22% which annoyed me. There are so many better food places in San Mateo for much cheaper. I will say the inside was well decorated and felt very modern/clean. Place also had options for dogs.
