A little gem in the old downtown. The cafe has a patio in the back which allowed for more intimate conversations and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast wasn't super fancy but it has side dishes that made it possible to create a healthy breakfast for our small bodies. We had oatmeal with a pouches egg, Sunnyside up over an English muffin, coffee and tea. Everything tasted good. Good price too. Our server was super nice. Overall a great experience there.

There was just one man covering the whole place, which was very small, but quaint. I ordered blueberry pancakes, eggs, and sausage, and I’ve had better at McDonald’s. The pancakes were gooey inside, obviously not cooked enough and very very bland. The sausage was the same, very bland and with a real thick casing to it. The café mocha was pretty good though and was the saving grace of the whole meal

I think some of the reviews must be fake because we walked in and it was not what we expected. Also, it's not in a nice area (El Camino Real), so if you're on vacation, it's not a good choice.

I haven't been here in a while & came back because I was in the neighborhood. The diner has been remodeled & refreshed, with updated menus, and still low priced. Had excellent table service for breakfast & excellent food. Little things like gourmet coffee & fluffy eggs make a difference... Will be back soon!
