First time trying Philz and I ordered the Honey Haze it tasted weirdly sweet in a bad way, like the flavors just didn’t belong together. You can tell the coffee isn’t good quality. Honestly, even a Keurig is better than what I had here. The staff wasn’t friendly either. Definitely not coming back.

love coming here after school to grab a drink especially w/ the order ahead option thru the philz app to save time! shout out to dylan (?? not entirely sure, the little chalkboard said "Dylan" on it, but it was a guy with light brownish hair) this afternoon for remaking my order right on the spot as i accidentally placed my order to the wrong location (the palo alto philz on forest ave). that was rly kind, please give this man a raise! the wifi here is pretty good (you have to use the hillsdale mall wifi as there is no specific philz wifi), i was able to load a 500 page pdf document on the weekend for a reading assignment. there are outlets if you choose a seat near the wall, and the music is usually at a medium-ish level. would definitely recommend bringing your own noise cancelling headphones if ur going to be requiring intense concentration tho. my go to order is probably the honey haze (or the oatmeal cookie drink) and the roasted chicken yellow rice burrito! has never failed me and it probably never will :)

Always love Philz! This spot is a good one, free parking at the mall, but not always the easiest parking. I always love trying new things on the menu, this is their honey oat latte. Service was great, and they also had a lot of merch available at this location.

Came here for an afternoon pick me up to walk around the mall. Saw they advertised a new oatmeal cookie drink on the sign out front. I also wanted to try the Sweet Harmony but decided to go for it next time.
My friend and I waited around 20 minutes for our drinks. We were the only people in line too; there were other people hanging out in the store, but we were surprised it took so long. We hung out on the bench in front of the baristas.
The oatmeal cookie drink was tasty! My friend enjoyed her Sweet Harmony too. It woke us up from our mid-day slump.
The service was friendly and the store was clean. Just wish things were a bit faster.

Love Philz in general, but coffee at the Hillsdale mall location has been consistently worse than other locations. Experienced everything from too cold, too much milk, sugar when we didnt ask for it, and today's Philtered Soul was basically watered down hazelnut flavor milk?? Pastries are always good though.

What happened to Philz? You used to be able to order your coffee and have it started while you made your way through the payment linenow it’s backwards and you have to get through a massive line with one cashier while five people making coffee are standing around, waiting for the orders to come throughI miss the old days.
