Häagen-Dazs is located in the main dining area on the 2nd floor of the Hillsdale Mall. This kiosk serves ice cream, smoothies, sundaes, and milkshakes. The ice cream is good and similar to store-bought pints. Popular flavors include pistachio, butter pecan, cookie dough, brownies a la mode strawberry, rum raisin, and salted brown butter cookie. Seasonal flavors like peppermint bark are available. A mini size exists, which is smaller than the "small" and costs less. Samples are provided, and service is quick. The White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle ice cream is creamy and milky with tartness from the raspberry swirl and bitterness from dark chocolate chips. A smoothie was good but a little more sour than expected. Everything about the sundae was great. The ice cream barista remembered a specific order for a dulce de leche milkshake. Some items are overpriced for the quality and size, as a waffle cone is an additional $1.50. It is recommended to order special desserts instead of just ice cream.
