Staying near SF airport to assist in selling my wife's father's home, Porterhouse was recommend by a local. It was one of those rare dinners where every dish was outstanding. The service excellent, ambience old school interesting, just a great evening. We will return.

Great experience at Porterhouse. I had the wedge salad and the Cowboy steak cooked to perfection. I loved the peppercorn cream sauce. The dessert entertainment with the preparation of Cherries jubilee and Banana foster was a highlight.

Connected with some of my Bay Area friends on a recent trip back and we grabbed dinner at Porthouse. It was a recommendation from one of my friends that had seen a review on Check Please Bay Area (one of my favorite PBS shows when we lived there). I was not that hungry so I kept it light with a salad and French Onion soup. I have to admit that it was the best French Onion soup that I have ever had.
