5 stars when the hardworking short girl is working! My drinks always come out quickly and PERFECT!
When it’s just the guys working, my drink is always cooked (sugar/tea ratio not right, wrong size, takes longer)
Pls give the girl a raise ?

Great drinks, and it is our go-to place during the weekend. The signature one has plenty of add-ons which can be served as a lunch.

Drinks were good. Tried the brown sugar bubble drinks and a watermelon tea. A few of the bobas were a little hard but overall liked the drinks. All were little sugar 30% which was perfect for us.
They have seating inside. Here on a Saturday afternoon and there was no line or anyone sitting inside. Parking can be a challenge.
Check in on yelp before you order. I was waiting for my drinks and checked in and missed out a 20% off. I asked but there was nothing they could do since I already paid.

Got the peach oolong with mochi and jelly. It was just too much “food” in the drink. The mochi clogged the wide straw every sip until I ate it all up. Even at 75%, it was way too sweet. Coma afterward. With just one person working, it was a bit slow. Would come back to try the signature only because I love grass jelly and the price is ok.

Peach mochi drink was nice and there was plenty of clean bright seating to hang out
Lots of interesting bits you have to be a texture person or you're going to be sad like the person I saw who wanted a refund (they kindly offer to remake the drink, but she wanted a refund which she got) so like keep in mind the drinks have things with a nice chew or bite. It's not a smoothie, there are intentional chunks of smooth jelly, chewy mochi, or toothsome fruit bits

Please avoid this if you can! My friend and I bought two cups of milk tea and both of us had diarrhea after one hour. The diarrhea was so bad and we did not make anything in common except this. We have reported to the San Mateo County Health and waiting for the inspection.

Got the mango tea, the signature grass jelly drink and the lemon tea. The tea was not astringent. Very nicely done. Nice calm atmosphere.

The workers here are very fast and hard working! This shop’s milk tea flavor is similar to what you’d find in mainland China (for ex. chagee and sexytea)

The only spot in San Mateo with taro balls which is the only reason I order from Shuyi. Decent quality tea. Wish they would have a 0% sugar option on their kiosk.
