Great birria and one of the best you will find in the bay. Their aguas frescas are amazing and the churro donuts are a must.

I reallly wanted to like this place but something was lacking! The tacos were a bit soggy from the steam so every time I took a bite, things were falling apart and made the eating experience very messy. The consume was very flavorful but needed extra cilantro, onions and a lime in there! The burrito was pretty flavorful for the al pastor but it got pricey adding toppings such as guacamole, cheese, lettuce etc.

This is actually a hole in the wall so I expect the food to be amazing. Got a Cali burrito woth birria. The burrito wasn't anything special. The birria was good but nothing so insane that I would reorder it. I also got the churro donut which was really underwhelming as both a donut and as a churro. The chocolate sauce doesn't make it any better.

From Florida, this is my favorite quesabirria I’ve ever had. I come here every single time I’m in the area. Hands down the best

One of my friends was obsessed with birria tacos and wanted to come try this place. It's easy to drive by without realizing it because it's just a small window for take-out only. My friend ordered the quesabirrias and I ordered a couple of the shredded beef birria tacos. The order also comes with a bag of chips and a couple of different salsas (tomatillo avocado, mild charred red salsa, and Suavecito orange sauce). Since this place is take-out only, we went to a nearby park to eat. The shredded beef birria taco was kind of disappointing because the meat was so dry. It could have definitely used some consomme. There was a good chunk of meat in the taco, but it kind of all stuck together and wasn't super enjoyable because it was so dry. Adding lime juice did help to give it more flavor, though. The quesabirrias were better because the consomme added moisture and good flavor, but the cheese was hardened and the tacos got cold pretty quickly. That also could've been since we were eating outside, but it was a little disappointing nonetheless. The saving grace of the meal, though, was the chips. So good. Fresh, crispy, and seriously addicting. Honestly, I'd maybe come here just to get a couple bags of chips because they really were that good. You don't even need salsa because it's so good on its own, but I also really enjoyed them with the tomatillo avocado salsa. Come for the tacos, stay for the chips.

Suavecito is a hole in the wall Mexican spot that is known for take-out orders. The birria is incredible. Best in the Bay Area by far. Suavecito never disappoints and hits the spot if you're craving a burrito or taco. They update their Instagram page frequently with offers and menu changes. Just looking at the pictures will make you drool. Literally a HOLE in the wall spot lol. Service was quick and easy, wait times were reasonable and there is a lot of parking. Because they only do takeout, it's easy to pop in and out. The Beef Birria was so good; full of flavor and meaty. The taco was thick and cheesy. So glad we found this! I highly recommend this place!

There's no seating but the food is fire ?. I always get the 24k burrito and love it. One of the only places where they have good Mexican veggie alternatives. Recommend this

So lucky to be within walking distance of this hidden gem. The portions are huge so don't be turned off by the prices. They seem high as you add on elements to your dish, but a lot of dishes can be split or saved for a second meal. My husband loves their birria burrito and I usually get the chopped salad with birria. The salad dressing is incredible. I always order extra because I use it like a salsa too. Other things I've enjoyed are the quesadilla, also massive, and the quesabirria, of course. Oh and their chips are the best ever. I'm obsessed with them. They're thick but light and super crunchy. I love the orange salsa because it's not overly spicy unlike other places where it's so hot you can barely enjoy any of it. Don't sleep on Suavecito!

Food ordered:- Emma's Nachos- Suavecito BurritoNachos: they came with just beans, cheese and chicken. It's so basic and the chicken is salty. Their picture on DoorDash made it appear as if there would be cilantro, avo, pico de gallo. You know, some actual additions that add flavor and texture.Burrito: only has rice, meat beans. No salsa even though I selected the charred salsa. The meat was salty. I ordered carne and this is not true carne asada. I'm pretty sure they use the same beef as for the birria and season it as if it's carne asada but that's not the same. The beef wasn't even good. It was dry.I feel like they just completely dropped the ball on my order altogether or they had packed up the salsa and my order came in and decided to be lazy and just give me the bare basics.Really disappointed with this place. I feel like it has potential but you can tell there is a lack of care in how they cook and they are just trying to be a gimmicky burrito spot. There are much better and more authentic Mexican food places you can go to!

This place sell food to go only. Order churros but they are really donuts only. And the quesabirria are three tacos with beef birria and sauce. The flavor is acceptable but not exceptionalParking: Located in a street parallel to 101 after 3rd Street in San Mateo going south
