Great Dim Sum for lunch, Reasonably good Hong Kong style dinner menu. Spacioius and bright room. Convenient san Mateo downtown. Service is a little slow. Very Very inexpensive!

Dim sum from the morning to the night
Very convenient
The food was authentic, very affordable prices compared to other dim sum spots in San Mateo. I arrived at 12pm and there were plenty of seats, but the place quickly filled up afterward. There are two menus. I don't know why. I would grab both because some things I usually get are in the other menu.

Quite disappointing overall.
Came on a weekend for dimsum lunch, didn't have to wait for a table. Ordered, took very long for any food to come out, and it was only coming out 1 plate every 10 mins.
Dim sum taste was below average. Only good item was the congee.
For some reason, the cold water tasted very 'dusty' and unclean?
the atmosphere is extremely chaotic the workers look lost and unorganized. You also cant tell whose a worker. The food also takes an hour to arrive. The whole place is a mess

Best congee (rice porridge) served in San Mateo. Friendly service, wide space and clean, then good choices of dim-sum items. The large karaoke screens are a bit annoying but good for killing a time of waiting foods.

For someone who has had dimsum since growing up for 20+ years, this has got to be one of the worst dimsums I’ve had. Food was not good, service was even worse. And it was not cheap either.

Such a chaotic restaurant. Food is mediocre, a bit too greasy. Xiaolongbao is awful. Service is slow and horrible. We ordered tea after seated, no water or tea was served in 20min. The person served our table brought other table’s dim sum to our table and missed what we ordered. The staff are constantly talking/checking in with each other like they don’t know what they are doing, paying no attention to customers. There are many good dim sum options in peninsular area. We will never come back again.

Very beautiful restaurant, clean, and amazing food. The service is great, everyone was very kind. There was a mistake made on our order and they were quick to make it right, even after we told them it was fine. Will be coming back soon!

A welcome addition to downtown San Mateo’s expansive and diverse restaurant list. It offers Cantonese and other Chinese dishes: dim sum for brunch or lunch (11 am to 2 pm) and a la carte for dinner (5 - 9 pm). Early favorites: preserved egg and pork congee, fish and congee combo, steamed pork dumplings (shu mai), steamed pork buns, baked crispy pork buns, superstar fried rice, walnut shrimp, Singapore style stir fried vermicelli, salted fish and chicken fried rice, sesame balls, Portuguese egg custard, and baked egg custard.
