Traveling for work this is the first time I’ve been able to try sweetgreen. I walked up to the counter and was met by a girl who offered only a blank stare, no greeting or acknowledgement. The rest of my transaction was no warmer. Not sure if it’s a Bay Area thing but kinda killed the vibe for me. Food was good though.
It was good until it wasn't. Salads are great, but the rice bowls are completely horrendous. Salad always tastes good when you pay $15 for one. Service is fast if the lululemon girlies can stop coming in as a group yapping away and stop holding up the line by paying individually for their own meals. I think it's overwhelming if your new at dining at overly priced minimal aesthetically pleasing restaurants. Parking is not the best when there is lunch rush and dinner hours.
