Stopped here in the way home to Carmel from San Francisco. EXCELLENT. Everything fresh, delicious, incredible staff. Wish we had something this good nearby. Definitely will stop again. Berry Burrata, tuna tar tar with homemade chips, ribs, boar, salads- farm to table fresh, every small detail in the plate from potato puree, golden beets, veggies… Berry drinks non alcoholic if you prefer, wine list excellent too — and sticky bread pudding so light and airy, best I’ve ever...
I’ve been eating at the barrel for 2 1/2 years and love the experience and food. Today I tried their new breakfast menu. I had steak and eggs with add on of pee wee potatoes. It was very reasonable priced very fresh and very clean food .Thank you to the chefs in the entire staff for your hospitality and making this my #1 spot on B St. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. This wine bar offers outdoor seating & extensive wine list. We came for brunch & ordered shepherd burger w/ truffle fries, Aegean butcher, Morning Lamb, Uncle Yorgo's Breakfast. Delish unique flavors with Mediterranean twist. Friendly new chef came over to greet us & shared it was his 4th day on the job. Definitely worth trying if you're up for a change from usual brunch offerings!
