Was really disappointed with the communication and overall first experience with The Cake Shop.
A week ago, I submitted an inquiry on their site for a custom cake. Followed all their prompts and requests per their UI, and submitted with no word. Days later after calling to no avail earlier, I got a text message from the shop asking for all the same information already sent/submitted via their own website to a different email. Fine, I did as instructed, no follow-up for another day.
Finally, after one more additional day, I get told that they're all booked up.
Made no sense to either not to say that in the first place, or not respond to your own website's submission form.
Lame, because their cakes are pretty from what's shown - but terrible execution in terms of customer service/communication.

Where to begin….. this bakery is an all time favorite!! It has amazing cakes and delicious pastries. I have been ordering birthday cakes here and they never disappoint. I highly recommend and suggest you give it a try.
