American Italian staple in downtown San Mateo. Staff was great, although our server seemed to be doing everything for the restaurant (host, bartender, server, busser, cleaner)! My Dad was disappointed that they didn't have the bread pudding; not sure if it's permanently gone or just that night.
Server was marginally attentive. Food was excellent. Ranch for the wings was delicious. Garlic knots-AWESOME. Chicken alfredo was very good. Sauce was a little watery but much flavor. Need to stock Disarono.
I’m giving 5 stars for the catering order I picked up yesterday because of the excellent service. I had called a few days earlier to place the order and was told that the Baked Penne Bolognese came with salad and garlic rolls. When I called on Sunday to make sure that my catering order would be ready, I was told that I had placed an order for a family pack, not a catering order. I was told that the catering size of Penne Bolognese did not come with Salad or rolls. I understood...
