We ordered chicken biryani and steamed chicken momos. The momos looked like potstickers unlike the ones i see here with the reviews. This is the first time we're having it though so I'mnot sure.I really liked the chicken biryani. Itbwas spicy for me. If you can't tolerate spice, ask them if they can lower the heat. They did not skimp on the chicken. Portion sizes are on the smaller side though. One order is good for 2 people with normal appetite. If you have a huge appetite or hungry, an order is good for 1 person.Staff was very friendly. The place is small. Maybe just 6, max 8 tables inside. If you come on a weekday before dinner time, I think you will be ok. There is also outside seating so it is not a problem. I would go back to try other dishes besides the ones we ordered.

This was not what i paid for. The preparations are too raw. Dal makhani doesnt have a taste. Gorkhali chili is burnt. Paneer Tikka is super sweet. Garlic naan looks like it was packed and cold since morning. Only dal soup and chai were nice. Now I doubt if the current 4.4 stars is real...

Little hole in the wall. Delicious authentic street food. The place is tiny, so I recommend if you want to dine in, to do so in good weather so you can eat outside. I always take my food to go.
First time having Indochinese food which looks a lot like Indian food. Flavors were bold and delicious. I still ended up putting hot sauce on everything. Portions were a bit on the smaller side but will definitely return if I'm back in the area.

Really underrated. Went there on a Friday night and there was just one other group with us outside. The food is some of the best I've had in the bay. Really like their butter chicken with garlic naan and Gobi Manchurian. Very nice responsive waiters, and excellent atmosphere due to the street lighting and guitarist from the restaurant next door.
A top 3 restaurant in San Mateo! We've been coming here since they opened several years ago and they deliver excellent food every time! Recommend you get:1) Chicken momo, steamed: BEST dumplings ever!!!2) vegan lentil soup : BEST soup ever. The spice blend is perfect3) chili chicken or vegetarian cauliflower. The chicken is hotter but the cauliflower has more spices.You won't be disappointed!

Recommended samose, Jhol Chicken Momos are also delicious, the dessert Ras Malai milk balls have a slightly subtle texture, the sauce is a bit like condensed milk, but the taste is more layered.

We ordered their Chicken and Paneer momos, garlic fries, gorkhali chicken chilli and the mixed chow mein. They were all delicious. Their momos took me back home..and the chicken chilli and garlic fries were very flavourful and tender. Their chowmein was the best chowmein I have had so far. We are looking forward to explore their other locations. Thank you for the great service and awesome food!
