This Yifang location in San Mateo is definitely my all time favorite for any milk tea, boba, fruit teas, and sweet drinks across the Bay Area. I'm super happy that my children are drinking something with real ingredients rather than powdered ingredients with high fructose corn syrup. Their favorite drinks include Strawberry Milk, Strawberry Sago, and Brown Sugar Pearl Latte (there's no caffeine in these), and my favorites are the Yifang Fruit Tea, Grass Jelly Tea, Sugar Can Mountain Tea, and Brown Sugar Pearl Matcha Latte. The other item options are top-notch as well. Drinks tend to be on the sweeter side so I would always order 30% sweetness. Highly, highly recommend! Staff here are sweet and so helpful!

I finished my drink before remembering to take a photo I love this location cuz there's a parking garage across the street so you don't need to find for street parking, you can also order on Snackpass to order ahead and have your drink ready by the time you get there. Although on the higher price tag for drinks ($5.75 for reg, $7 usually for large) it's definitely worth it! My go to drink is usually the grass jelly almond latte with 50% sugar as there drinks are on the sweeter side. I always love to get this drink cuz it's kind of like a blended slush so there's a nice crunch when you're hitting the ice. Their sugarcane drinks are also a must try!

I tried the Yakult mountain tea and I've concluded I'm just not as much of a fan of fruit based tea drinks. I also found that even at 30% sugar, the drinks here run really , really sweet. I'd say closer to 50-70% sweetness at other places. It might be because there isn't milk or creamer to cut the sweetness? I did try a few dips of my kid's mango sago drink and we all concluded this was the best one. My husband got the Yifang fruit tea, which is one of its most popular drinks, and I also found this one to be too sweet. In conclusion: Give me my go-to, green milk tea with 25% sugar any day! But if you love fruity drinks, Yifang is bountiful in its options.

Yifang is such a convenient boba shop in downtown San Mateo, with consistently good fruit teas. I've had their plain teas, and I wish the tea flavor was a bit stronger. Their Yifang fruit tea is my favorite, super fresh and refreshing and fruity. Otherwise, when it comes around, the sugar cane tea is also really good.

With the current boba explosion, you gotta start keeping track of what is good where because they ain't all equal. Yifang, like its name implies, excels in fruit teas. I've found their signature mixed fruit teas, pineapple teas, and orange teas the best, but it can vary a bit based on season. Depending on your tastes, you might not want to skimp on the sugar! Even with my Asian tasting buds (i.e. "not too sweet" is the supreme compliment), 50% is actually just right for the tarter fruits. This Yifang has similar look and feel inside to ones I've been to in Asia, and it's pretty efficient from ordering to getting your drink. I'd recommend ordering from their website so your drink can be ready for you, especially during busy hours on a hot day.

I ordered the Brown Sugar Pearl Matcha Latte drink. I don't think it was worth $8. However, it is better than your average pearl drink. My favorite part was the tapioca balls. The texture was soft and chewy. It tasted fresh and was super warm. The drink wasn't as sweet as I hoped for. The process to order the drink was easy. You have to order on an iPad and the drink will come out within minutes. I appreciate the quickness and timely manner in making the drink.

Drinks are so good here! The brown sugar boba latte here is to die for! The brown sugar boba syrup on the bottom is warm when it comes out and the boba is very squishy and soft (which I love!). The sugar cane drinks here are really good too, as well as their grass jelly almond latte. The mango sago is a heavenly also! I came here so many times, as their drinks are so good, and I WILL keep coming back!
I order from this place once every 2 weeks or so. My favorite is the black sugar boba milk tea and I usually get a salted cream black milk tea with grass jelly for the next day as well. My favorite place in town for milk tea.

- Lugo Oolong Tea 乌龙茶 [5/5] I get this every time I order from Yifang (so I've had it about 30 times)! :) It's a very delicious blend of Oolong and tastes a bit like peach. The tea taste is very strong in this drink, which I really appreciate. If I could compare it to something, it might be something like a sweet and fruity version of the tea provided at dimsum. I get it with 75% sugar and less ice. SERVICE [6/5] A+ customer service!! I accidentally ordered a Medium size for one of our drinks but they upgraded to Large for free. That was a super kind gesture and honestly made my day! :) Thanks very much! I ordered and was able to pick it up within 5 minutes. Super fast!
