Stopped here for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. They brought chips and salsa immediately and took my drink order. I ordered the shredded beef tacos and they were delicious. Very big too! The beans and rice were very tasty. I actually finished it all. I highly recommend the green salsa. It seems like it's tomatillo and avocado with the right amount of spice. I got to meet the owner and his wife and they are the nicest people. Will return with the wifey soon! Lo recomiendo mucho!!

What a beautiful atmosphere and authentic mexican cuisine! All dishes are made from scratch! I had menudo, my son ordered red salsa chilaquiles topped with all the correct condiments, I highly recommend Mr.Valdez restaurant. The owners are also the chefs/cooks, Gracias la comida fue una Delicia!

To begin with, the service at this restaurant is outstanding. If you are looking to delight your palate and impress your elsee grandparents and parents from Mexico, this is the perfect place to dine. My order consisted of chilaquiles with red sauce, topped with crema, Mexican cheese, and onions, served with a side of homemade fried beans and Mexican rice. The horchata, made with authentic ingredients, is a true reflection of traditional Mexican flavors. The overall dining experience is filled with flavor and warmth. This family-owned restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of visiting relatives. I highly recommend it, and appreciate the convenient parking and handicap accessibility. Also- SUPER CLEAN & SPACIOUS♥️

Gracias!

This is now my favorite Mexican food place in LA area. The food is amazing, you can tell the folks that work here really take pride in making food like they're making it for their home. It is sooo good. And to sweeten it off, they even throw some sugar free chocolate treats in there for you.

I love visiting Mr. Valdez to eat lunch and dinner. The food is always fresh and delicious. I first fell in love with their Mexican Taquitos Dorados, then I tried their mole and OMG, it is amazing. Their tacos governador, menudo, and chilaquiles are my go to. The more dishes I try, the more I am surprised by the quality and incredible taste.

Mr. Valdez Restaurant is a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, the cozy atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The menu has a great mix of traditional and creative dishes, and everything I tried was packed with flavor.

The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. I definitely recommend trying anything from the menu, everything we chose was amazing, burrito de asada, enchiladas, menudo, mole con pollo, chilaquiles verdes, and the red ones were really delicious, just be careful with the red chilaquiles if you don't like spicy; they are amazing!
Overall, it's a fantastic place for a relaxed meal with friends or family. Plus, they have free parking and the back. I can't wait to go back!

I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito. When I picked it up I asked for salsa the lady acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. I had to ask "what do you serve with your chips?" She gave me 1 small container of watered down salsa. The tortilla was store bought and the bacon was a few big chunks of scrap meat. I've lived a couple blocks away for 14 years and have never tried this place but the reviews made it sound solid. I won't be back.
