Found Daily Recess at the The Box SF Eat Me! Artisan Food Fair and OMG, the yuzu vanilla bean is unreal. Bright, creamy, perfectly tart, and roll-your-eyes-back delicious. Also loved the pomegranate rose (vegan!) — such a great flavor combo. Brian, the owner, is super friendly and has such a warm smile.
Highly recommend seeking them out and if you see the yuzu vanilla bean on the menu, don’t overthink it. Just get it.
Oh and I love the retro vibes and the little PacMac ice cream ghost guy! So cute.
