Based on the reviews, Mi Pueblo San Rafael is a gem for authentic meals with generous portions. The food is fresh, hot, and delicious, with standouts like the chicken quesadilla, chicken enchiladas plate, chile rellenos, and shrimp enchiladas verde. The beans and rice are the best, and the coleslaw / curdito served with the a la carte chile relleno is very good. The prickly pear margarita is absolute perfection, and there is a good selection of beers on tap. The service is excellent, friendly, and attentive, with staff smiling nonstop. Quick service and a full bar are available. The happy hour and taco Tuesday are good. Some dishes use premade taco shells and pre-breaded fish fillets, but the food is cooked well. It is a spot worth going out of the way to visit again.
