First time visitor to Peruvian restaurant. Liked the food. The "must try" corn drink was not that great. Service was slow on Sunday noon even though we were only customers in the restaurant for a long time.

We ate Peruvian food years ago and walked past this place so we stopped inside for a late lunch. Yummy! The beef empanada was so good I wish we had gotten two. Tender and flaky with a delicious filling. I ordered a Peruvian beer-a nice lager- and Sweetheart tried the Chica Morada. It is indescribable. A Blue Corn derived beverage made with pineapple juice and other flavors. Ask for a sample if they don't offer one. Really good! Sweetheart ordered the Filete De Pescado: fried fish with salad (unique dressing) and rice. I ordered Lomo Saltado: sauteed beef with tomatoes and onions served over fries (!) with rice on the side. They both were SO yummy. The fish filet was large and perfectly cooked. My beef was wonderful. And they were not HOT. You can order spicy hot, but it is not necessary. Delicious. Appetizer, two meals and two beverages was $56. I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Really enjoyed the food here and the service (early Saturday evening) was fast and friendly. The fish ceviche was done perfectly. The Papa Rellena stuffed potato was great and something we had not had before. Prices are reasonable. Not much to look at from the outside, but homey and clean on the inside.
