Such fine food in a secluded setting well worth finding! The Basque country, between France and Spain, is known worldwide for its cuisine. How lucky we are to have this culinary treasure right here in Marin County.
Le Chalet Basque is one of our favorite venues in Marin County. We have been dining there for many years. The staff is warm and friendly and the food is always delicious.....the potions are generous.
It is a nice find, tucked away from the busy streets. The restaurant location makes you feel you are out in the country. Its' European charm is one of a kind in Marin County.

Great all around restaurant. Great food, great live Basque music, great service. I came at 5pm and was able to be seated right away and listen to the live guitarist. Outside and inside sitting. Menu with many excellent selections, good wines, as well as deserts. I had the Sand Dabs, watercress soup, Bordeaux wine, and the Gateau Basque for desert, wonderful! Pet friendly.
