The sushi was really fantastic. The quality of the fish was distinctive compared to the many other Marin sushi restaurants I’ve tried, and the sushi rice was deliciously seasoned to complement the fish. We had their chawan mushi special to start out, which was well prepared, silky and flavorful. I am happy to have met Chef Jun-San, what a remarkable treat to have him and his team in San Rafael.
I have been living in Indonesia and Singapore for the past 15 years, we love sushi, and Jun-San makes similar quality fresh sushi with local fish. He makes incredible tasty small plates and nigiri pieces with real wasabi and good crispy cold lager beer. A real treat .
