I don't like salads.
Oliver's Caesar is amazing.
Pizzas are great too.
One of the best hidden gems in Marin.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I am not an artisanal pizza connoisseur. I was raised on Shakey's Pizza and normally get my pizza from a nearby Dominos. So, having said that and keeping in mind the high marks everyone gives Oliver's, my sausage pizza experience was completely unexpected. When it arrived, it looked good. When I went to separate a piece, the thin crust seemed gummy and limp and I literally couldn't pick it up and eat it out of hand. Maybe you're not supposed to, like not good pizza eating etiquette, but the only way I could have picked it up and eaten a piece would have been to roll it up from tip to crust and eat it that way. Instead, I used a fork and knife, which is fine with me, no complaints there. The flavor was good but even with the first piece I knew it was too spicy hot for me. Again, I don't know how it's supposed to be but for comparison purposes, if I go to a Vietnamese or Indian place and they ask me how hot I want the food, I'm a 4 or 5 guy. This was more like an 8. Only got about halfway through it and then just ate the crust and picked off the sausage pieces. In the first photo, you can see how the tip just rolls over and in the second you can see how limp the piece is (I'm partially supporting it with my 2nd finger).
Again, not the serious pizza eater but this isn't my kinda thing. I'm going back to low brow, pedestrian-level pizza.

The menu is limited, but the caesar salad is out of this world. The pizza crust is a particular taste.. i think you will either love it or not.

Best pizza in Marin- and coolest vibe in Marin! I love this place and am so happy that we have such a delicious, authentic, and reasonable place here in downtown SR!

Probably the best pizza in Marin and one of the best in the Bay Area. Perfect cheese-to-sauce ratio, great crust and a crispy underbelly on every pie with a great variety on offer as well. The cocktails are also exceptional.

Might just be my all time favorite spot in Marin. An inviting atmosphere, incredible food, great drinks, and warm, welcoming people. Whether you’re catching up with friends or planning a cute date night, you can’t go wrong sharing a pizza and sipping on some delicious cocktails.

Small little place which was hard to find, went around the block looking for it. But I am glad I did find it. Salad was a huge, loved it. The pizza was good with the brick oven taste. Would just like to see a bigger variety in toppings but overall chef's kiss.

We are being coming to Oliver pizza for a while. But this time something was different on the dough and also it came a little bit warm instead of hot. Do they change the pizza chef?

Highly recommend. Pizza is excellent. Great ingredients and cooked to perfection in the wood fired oven. Best pizza in San Rafael and probably greater Marin area. Staff was great and prompt to seat. Nice spot it’s worth eating there instead of take out.

Best Caesar ever, plus masterful pizza making and Negronis! It does not get any better than that!

By far the best pizza in San Rafael.
Fantastic everything. My new go-to pizza spot.
This restaurant is a little difficult to find. It's actually upstairsIf you're looking for takeout, the wait time will be significantly long.
Thank god
Stop with the total charred fully black on the bottom burnt?
I love you all sooo much but I want to eat the pizza without thinking about the carcinogens I’m eating.
