Ounces is such a great addition to Terra Linda! The food and drink menus change often and are consistently phenomenal. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a cider, wine or a beer and I've never been disappointed! Trivia on Wednesdays is always fun, and the weekends have a live music.

This place is awesome and the people who run it are just the best. I emailed them to see if we could reserve the bocce space for a work social event on a Tuesday and JoJo said they were usually closed on Tuesdays but would be happy to open up for us. So generous of them! My team had a blast - the food was great, the selection of drinks was perfect, and the bocce and cornhole were perfect group activities. JoJo and Waz are delightful and such lovely hosts. The vibe was just right for our group. Cannot recommend Ounces Outdoors highly enough.

Such a unique place, wonderful experience, sitting outside but inside their tent. You could see the sky and have some comfort from the cold, loved that there was dogs and the drinks were lovely. They fixed us up a cheese platter and we really enjoyed it. Will absolutely be back in the

This place is amazing. Great drinks great food, great people. Friendly hosts, dog friendly, kid friendly, wonderful community. During the summer there are bands and other events. Pub quiz on Wednesday nights. Mulled wine in the winter. You just can't go wrong.

Had a perfectly fine dinner and they had some nice beer options! Keep in mind it's fully outside and the menu is extremely limited. That being said, so had a yummy salad and beer and then went to see a movie! You might also want to make sure they aren't doing trivia, my friend and I felt like we needed to keep our conversation low as to not disturb the people playing. It was awkwardly quiet.

Cool place to hang out. Service was friendly but inconsistent. When someone sits down or a glass is close to empty, it's time to check on your guests. We shouldn't have had to go to the bar to get help when there were hardly any other guests and the two servers were just hanging out at the bar. Food is alright but a little boring. Great beer selection. It's also inconvenient to not have restrooms nearby. You have to either go to the second floor of Kohl's or to the food court in the mall.

Mcklinley and Jojo were amazing an servers. My only complaint is that this location needs a bathroom and that Jojo and McKinley need a raise they're the best.

Ounces outdoors is an awesome addition to Terra Linda and San Rafael in general. Staff is ultra friendly and there's always a good time going on... Wednesdays trivia, Thursdays, a cornhole tournament open to anybody who wants to play and the weekends areChock full of music and good food...Including sunday brunch. I'll be back again and again

What ounces did to the space between the main Northgate Mall structure and Kohl's is nothing short of amazing. Malls are generally fairly devoid of charm; the nearly abandoned Northgate, particularly so. But between the concrete blocks of empty stores sits Ounces Outdoors, a lush garden space where locals can eat, drink, socialize with dogs and kids, listen to live music, play bocce, cornhole, or join in on quiz night. When Ounces first put up signs announcing impending construction of the beer garden, the sign prominently declared the new space would be "dog friendly." So it was inevitable that we would eventually find ourselves there--especially after I read on Yelp that Ounces is also particularly kid friendly. It was busy enough on a Wednesday night that we made space at our picnic table for waiting diners (voluntarily! No pressure from staff). Many--most? tables had a dog present. It happened to be quiz night. I haven't done a pub quiz in ages (not to brag, but I might have once brought my team to victory in a sudden death overtime round with the winning answer of "vitameatavegemin" in a South Bay sports bar). I felt unprepared with only one other adult, two kids, and a dog as teammates, but the Kittie Cats (seven-year old's choice) didn't place too badly in the two rounds we could stay for. This is definitely an un-intimidating, inclusive kind of quiz atmosphere. My daughters thought the menu was perfect--basically a choice of hot dogs. I wouldn't mind a bit of a more extensive menu, but it worked. I would like if there were more appetizers (fries even?) or sweets to extend the meal so I could entice my kids to stay for the whole quiz.
