It was good coffee. I personally didn’t quite like the place even though it looks nice, it didn’t feel super inviting but that’s just me. Nonetheless, the coffee was good and quick.
Hard to find a coffee joint with character and high quality in the north bay. I don’t go in for instagram or resort vibes, and so I really appreciate Red Whale’s down to earth approach—and also the excellent house made chai and killer roasts.
This is fantastic coffee! I always seek out local roasters in my travels and Red Whale definitely stands out. They really make the beans come to life. Check out the multiple Burundi options.
