The staff is nice, and professional. The ambience is nice. The ramen, shoyo, and/or miso ramen was avoidable. We had karaage also, and I've def had better. Specifically the flavoring of the soup broths was mediocre-to-not-palatable. If you're familiar and accustomed to delicious ramen, this is not that, sadly. If you've had Ramen at those to-die-for-spots in the South Bay, Jtown, LA, Vancouver, Japan......you'll know wassup.

The food was amazing. I got the spam musubi and pan fried ramen which were both excellent. The Yuzu soda was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was delivered quickly.

Uchiwa Ramen in San Rafael is always a solid choice. But let me tell you, this time of year? It's especially good. Maybe it's the cooler weather making a warm bowl of noodles even more comforting

Got the miso ramen 2x now and it is not nearly as good as other places in the area. I really don’t understand why it is rated so high.

Nice place and atmosphere. Good service too. Vegetarian options were limited and weren’t really great, which makes me give a 4 star.

Do not go here. Flavor is bland. I feel that a lot of American ramen is over salted but this was totally under salted. Taste like they use a powder mix not real broth. What a waste of good piece of pork belly too, it was over cooked with no flavor. I asked for ramen kosho and the sever said they don’t have it and wouldn’t even ask the kitchen staff if they had it. The boiled egg had no flavor. Bad service, bad food. Way overpriced for such low quality.
Oh, and I got gyoza, which tasted packaged and they were deep fried. It should say “age-gyoza’ if they are going to deep fry them, although I doubt these cooks are properly trained on how to pan fry gyoza anyway. I couldn’t even finish the ramen and I was starving when I went in. Horrible experience.

Went with folks who like and wanted Ramen, and they felt it was not on par with what they consider good Ramen. For me it was ok, and the service was great.Fairly plain venue, and lots of kids when we arrived who were noisy and running around, so not a place for a relaxing meal.

Music is great. I don’t know why there aren’t more 5 stars. Compared to every other similar ramen restaurant they don’t charge automatic service fee, they aren’t more expensive than another restaurant I was comparing. I went to a place down the street for pho and they wanted me to pay additional money for more meat and they claimed their large size had more noodles and meat, but based on my experience that’s a lie. Anyways, the music and the interior design here is great. I hope this encourages more people to come enjoy the ramen here.

This place is definitely a must if you are visiting San Rafel. The waiters don't bother you every 10 minutes and they are very very nice. The food is amazing and there are alot of different ways to make your Ramen special. We are definitely coming back to eat here. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Vegetarian options: Anything in the menu can be made into a vegetarian option!

Dietary restrictions: Any dietary restrictions? No problem! They will accommodate any and all dietary restrictions!

Kid-friendliness: The alcohol that they serve is all on a separate drink menu! Plus they don't keep the alcohol in plain view. They also have a kids Ramen in the menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for wheel chairs and the door is big enough to let wheel chairs inside. They also have wheel chair tables!
