Egg rolls were OK, but the sweet and sour meatless chicken was horrible. Hard and almost breadlike, with a super sweet sauce. Never again.

Let me start by acknowledging the dining room which has very flattering lighting, large tables and comfortable chairs. The service is top notch (very lovely & accomodating). The food is fresh off the fire and while aeathetically pleasing it is absolutely delicious. My favorite is their Sweet & Sour Prawns and the Beef Brocoli. Also, unlike ecerywhere else they have lowered all their prices to celebrate 20 years in Marin County. Happy Birthday Uncle Wing!!!!!!!! So happy I fond that place. My friends and family I bring there love it too!

I ordered a combo chow fun. The order took forever even though I was the only one in line, and there were barely any toppings with the noodles. Definitely don't reccomend.

As you can see from my photos, the menu has been totally revised and options narrowed. I arrived quite early and there was nobody else in the dining room. I was greeted promptly and courteously. The decor was a little dated. The chairs have slipcovers like your old aunt Mildred might have used, but it just reminded me of some old places in Chinatown that have been there forever. Speaking of which, the drastic change in the menu from what I had seen online before I went, plus the food not matching some past stellar reviews had me wondering if perhaps the place had changed hands. It didn't seem to be quite the same restaurant described on the Yelp page that guided me here. My initial selection was the Szechuan beef, but I was told that this would be deep fried like the meat in sweet and sour pork or General Tso's chicken. That didn't sound like any Szechuan beef I've ever had before, so I changed my order and got the black pepper beef instead. This dish was tasty, the beef was tender, and the portion was adequate, but the one flavor I didn't notice was that of black pepper. I ordered a "small" hot and sour soup and received a bowl that might have served four. They show three sizes of soups on the menu. After I remarked on the "small" size being still rather large, I was told that I could have asked for a "cup," but this option was not indicated on the menu, nor did the server suggest it when I ordered. I did like the soup. The location was convenient, the service friendly, and the price reasonable. The food was good, but I wouldn't have gone out of my way for it if I had seen the new menu before I went. I don't think I will be back.

You will hear about other Chinese restaurants in San Rafael but honestly this one is better. The menu isn’t huge but what it has and specials are delicious. The staff is really nice and fast. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in San

I LOVE this place! The food was great - had the special eggplant and tofu as recommended, best sweet and sour pork, egg drop soup, and delicious vegetable fried rice. Dessert sesame balls were amazing!! Everything was very fresh and well priced. The service was very welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

I love Uncle Wings! The family that owns the place are so nice..I usually order take out and I am never disappointed.I don’t like very salty dishes and luckily they don’t put too much salt in their dishes… so you can always add more .I especially love the chicken chow mein, Mongolian beef, veggies with tofu and all their chicken dishes.Their food is always consistent and reasonably priced!

Great Chinese food. I usually get take out and none goes to waste, especially the Chow Mein noodles.

This restaurant is sort of hidden from view, unlike another highly visible Chinese restaurant about a block away on fourth Street which is much better known. Personally, I like the food better at Uncle Wing so walk further from my office to eat there.

On A Wednesday night (9/2023 the were alone in this restaurant. I can't believe it! This place has been here forever and it is still great.Don't let the parking deter you. You will get a great meal at a realistic price. The eggplant was the best I have ever tasted, and I make a pretty good eggplant. Please try this place. We don't want to lose them.

Don't plan on sitting and dining inside. It's best to take out. It had a strange odor like when I was there and not one person sitting inside at 6pm on a Tuesday. I got my food to go and the prices were great.
