About Alora

Alora, located in The City Center San Ramon, is a beautiful restaurant known for its great ambiance and attentive service. Diners enjoy a variety of dishes, with highlights including the artichoke heart hummus dip served with fresh baked pita, the flavorful chicken pita, and the spicy lamb kebab. The fried Brie and lamb shank appetizers are also praised, while the salmon entrée received mixed reviews for being too sour.

The restaurant has an open concept and a cute lounge area, making it ideal for special occasions. Guests appreciate the cocktail menu, though it is considered pricey, and some diners noted the additional charge for extra pita as a slight annoyance. While the food is generally well-received, some reviews suggest improvements in taste for certain dishes.

Alora hosts belly dancers on Friday and Saturday nights, adding to the dining experience. Overall, while the prices may be on the higher side, many agree that the quality of food and service makes it a place worth visiting again for a nice lunch or special dinner.

The cocktails are another highlight. They...read full review
The atmosphere was great and the service was friendly, but the food was far too greasy for my taste. There was literally a layer of melted butter sitting on top of the meat, which made it feel unnecessarily heavy and masked the flavor. With less butter and grease, the food would be much better.
