Had a lovely meal here one evening , shared the yummy Greek salad and then had the Mediterranean fish dish, paid the $5 to split this into 2 portions, wow so much food ?We shared a great bottle of ?, good value at $27 for the bottle. Enjoyed it so much we came back the next night.Second time we split the Caesar salad & ordered 2 entrees, very tasty fettuccini but a little over cooked. I had the steak, came with mashed & veggies, very good portions. Split the rose wine , Hearst “Julia” ,very tasty.Had a great waiter- “surfer” Dan? was very energetic & helpful with menu options. Warm rolls with butter were also a nice way to start off. Thanks Cavalier ??

Sat for 10 minutes and watched other parties, who sat after us, having their drink order taken and delivered, after another 10 minutes of essentially being ignored we got up and left.Would not recommend this place at all. There are better restaurants across the road with much better service.

A group of people from my Church had a Valentine's Day buffet brunch at the meeting room at the Cavalier. The service and food were great. Even the bacon was crispy and most of the sausages were browned. The muffins came from Linn's Bakery and Restaurant and were excellent as usual. Bottomless mimosas were included.

Great food for a little place in the middle of nowhere! Loved the chicken! Potstickers were fantastic! Huge drinks (though they charge full price for doubles so a bit expensive). All in all a great dinner with good room service.

We came here for dinner and breakfast while staying in San Simeon. Dinner was really good. We ordered the broiled salmon and the BBQ burger with onion rings. Both dishes were very flavorful, fresh, and filling. The salmon - glazed over with a delicious coat of garlic butter - was perfectly tender. Sadly, we waited a really long time to be seated and then to get food.Breakfast was also very good! We got our food much faster this time. We ordered the Garden omelette with country potatoes and the Denver omelette with hash browns. Both were super delicious and filling. The only downside was that I asked for coffee with oat milk but was given regular cow’s milk instead. Wasn’t too happy about that, but I’ll let it pass since the omelette was just that good.Server’s were very attentive and regularly walked around offering more water, coffee, etc. Also, the ocean view from the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous!

We came in for breakfast several times while stayed at the resort. Staff were courteous and recognized us when we returned. The breakfast burrito was delicious, great savory flavor to it. The Cajun omelet was a great combination of flavorful proteins. Hashbrowns were crispy every time. My boyfriend enjoyed the Denver omelet. The bacon we got as a side on one visit was a good thick quality, no paper thin pork here! In the future, would like to try their lunch or dinner menu.

Seafood Diablo was really good! It was a homemade sauce that tasted like a mix of ariabata and vodka sauce. Shrimp and scallop mixed with cheese tortellini. Healthy portions!Wheelchair accessibility: Level floors, no steps, Handicap parking available.

Our visit was not impressive. To begin with, I requested a window seat for myself, my husband, and our child, but it was denied, citing that the high chair would block passage way. Interestingly, the place was nearly empty; only two other tables were occupied besides ours.Regarding the food: I ordered a bagel with salmon, specifying no capers (the waiter noted this down). However, it was served with capers. Not a major issue, but not pleasant. The food was edible but fell into the "assemble it yourself" category. All the ingredients were scattered on the plate, and you had to make your own sandwich. My husband ordered the garden omelet and found it not tasty. He ate the omelet but couldn't even touch the filling and hash browns, even with ketchup. He then asked for water without ice, and within 3 seconds, he was served water with ice. It's disappointing that no one seemed to be listening to us, even when repeating the order correctly. We also ordered the yogurt parfait, which wasn't to our liking either. There was truly only a spoonful of yogurt, a whole bowl of granola, and a few berries and honey on top.My latte and an orange juice were fine.In summary, nothing extraordinary or enjoyable about the experience.
