My friend and I got 10% vouchers for breakfast from the San Simeon Lodge, so we decided to come here to make the best use of our coupons and save some money in our pockets. We came here around 8 am on a Sunday, so it wasn't too busy. We were seated immediately by a friendly waitress. The inside is very outdated, dingy, and reminiscent of an old, drive-by hotel from the 80s - neon lights, smelly carpet with weird print, dark furniture. This place doesn't have the vibes you'd expect from a restaurant along such a gorgeous stretch of Highway 1. The food was Ok. I thought my vegetarian omelette was actually good! It was loaded with melted cheese and various veggies. Instead of potatoes I got salsa to spice it up. I thought it was well made! On the other hand, my friend got the belgian waffles. She originally ordered waffles with blueberries, but they were out of blueberries so she opted for strawberries. She was very disappointed, to say the least. While the waffles were nice and warm, they were topped with COLD, FROZEN strawberries that completely took away from the flavor. To top it all off (no pun intended), the food was ridiculously overpriced. This place needs a serious upgrade. It has potential to be so much better!

Its a little old vegas fashioned in style but looks like it does it all. Dancing, live music, diner by day. I had the most delicious pasta ive never had served this way.The waiter was very kind, good, and Johnny on the spot.I look forward to coming here again on my next visit.

This place is a hidden gem! Breakfast is a MUST, perfectly poached eggs, light fluffy waffles, AMAZING hollandaise, crispy bacon.... we live in Cambria but make a regular drive just for the breakfast here. I can't understand how it's not packed every time we go but hey better for us! Also best Bloody Mary's on the central coast and absolutely wonderful service!

Consistently the best fish and chips on the central coast from San Simeon clear down to Pismo Beach. It's worth the drive and I highly recommend San Simeon Beach Bar and Grill.

I was running with the Corvett Club and we showed up on rainy day, locals were eating there. The atmosphere is nice and cozy they have a patio setting and indoor setting. I ordered a stack of ribs and clam chowder and I was surprised the clam chowder was pretty good. (I might be biased because two of my sons and ex-husband are executive chefs)The ribs were a little bit dry and they added too much sauce. I wish they said that they can put the sauce on the side. The screaming garlic bread is really good with the clam chowder. Our waiter was extremely nice and very attentive. If I'm in the neighborhood again I will definitely stop by
Would strongly discourage coming here for breakfast. Not one redeeming quality. French toast was neither brioche or properly soaked in batter so it was dry, thin, and a small portion. Not real maple syrup, which would have helped justify $14 for 2 slices of bread. Waffles also dry, might as well have been toaster waffles and were served with soggy defrosted strawberries, not the fresh fruit we expected for the crazy price. Eggs, ham and potatoes were overcooked and dry, even the bread for the toast was low quality. The tile floor was gross with the grout all cracked so impossible to clean. Has the ambiance of the big meeting room you'd book in a cheap hotel. Even the silverware was cheap with sharp edges. Do I have anything good to say? The ice water was cold and free....

We dropped by here for late dinner after visiting Hearst Castle for an evening tour. This restaurant was open later than every other one around by 30 minutes. They weren't bothered at all that we arrived 30 minutes before they closed. The service was really friendly and prompt. The food was tasty and it was a comfortable place to have dinner it's nothing fancy, but I would definitely recommend it.

Tables were sticky, the "fresh" sea food smelled super fishy and over cooked the deep fried items. We were 2 out of maybe 6 people total including the bartender and
