We were very disappointed with our wine tasting experience at Hearst Winery in San Simeon. The tasting cost $45 and included one white and four reds, but each pour was extremely small—roughly about one ounce per taste.

I have been to Hearst Ranch Winery in the past being able to purchase a bottle of wine and sit outside and enjoy the beautiful sights! I was there today (I’m from WI) and booked a 2:30pm reservation! When we got there and wanted to purchase a bottle of wine to share we were told we had purchase a club membership which costs over $400 for the year!
