Stayed near by hotel. I wasn’t hungry, needed a little snack. I ordered clam chowder bread bowl. My husband ordered a burger. We didn’t expect much. But server was very nice and food was so good! I tried clam chowder from several places during this west coast trip. Their chowder was the best! good flavor and a lot of clam in it. The burger was also flavorful. This restaurant deserve more recognition. I highly recommended.

Good place to eat a solid dinner. Prices are a bit high, thanks covid, but that's everywhere now so keep that in mind. The staff is super friendly and does a great job. Our food was good and enough.

Holy Moly, you don't expect food and service to be stellar in a restaurant attached to a motel, but it was beyond delightful! We had the clam chowder bread bowl( mmm mmm good), fettucine alfredo (wolfed down in minutes), and the cajun cod (best on either coast)! The wine selection is great too. If you stay at the motel, you get a 10% discount too! Places across the highway are missing out

I always order grilled chicken Cobb salad and it's amazing every time. So fresh & clean it's just to good for a real description. My husband orders fish and chips really fresh & hot he loves it. We loved the clam chowder! I'm not the biggest chowder fan but this was the best I've ever had! I actually enjoyed it. Three of us had the chowder, 2 thought it was the best we've ever had and the other said it was #2. We also had the BBQ pizza and it was delicious.

This favorite local spot is Family owned (separate from the Motel 6)- Delicious food with sizeable portions, affordable prices great for families, individual's, travelers & business- They have a sports bar with a wide selection of beer & wine-Play pool to unwind- Fare ranges from burgers, pizza, Steak, Shrimp Scampi & raviolis- I've tried it all & it's ??- Customer service is fabulous

We loved the Maui-pizza! Bought it for take-out! The large pizza was good for three people as long as you are not extremely hungry. Very friendly staff.
Pretty decent comfort food. The restaurant is located in a roadside motel, so don't expect it to be too fancy, and it miles from all but a few other options, so it's not cheap either. The nachos, cheese fries, and chicken sandwich were all tasty.

Ordered a pizza around 9:30 pm. Had it delivered to my room. It took less than a half hour but the pizza was terrible. I had a feeling they reheated a pizza someone else failed to pick up, threw it in a box, and sold it to me. Worst pizza I've ever had at the coast.

So, I am staying at the San Simeon Motel 6 for a few days on personal business and I knew they had this restaurant in the building so I thought it would be a positive to have a restaurant on property. This restaurant is independently owned and the front desk person told me that the restaurant does not serve breakfast or lunch. I was also advised that they were 'supposed to' open at 5 PM however, they generally just opened whenever they felt like it. The restaurant employee who greeted me was fairly friendly however it was rather difficult to understand what he was saying due to his heavy accent and the music playing in the background. The food was very good however, $17.99 for a chicken sandwich and fries is rather high. The restaurant itself is in need of some maintenance and shows a lot of wear and tear in places that have not been maintained. The final surprise was that they charge a 3% 'adjustment charge' if you pay with a credit or debit card. (This was noted on the check but not anywhere else in the restaurant.) This charge was a surprise to me since the area is a tourist area and many people today do not carry a great deal of cash with them when traveling. Considering there are other restaurants in the immediate area, including down the road in Cambria, and many of these also serve breakfast and/or lunch as well as not charging an additional 3% fee for using a credit card, I believe I will go elsewhere in future.
