It is always a treat to come down to Hammer Burger. Today was no different. I got my usual but there are always specials that are interesting to try. One day. I love sitting at the wine & beer bar and they are always super nice and making sure I've had enough food or drink. As for the food, the burgers are amazing and if you have not tried a Hammer Burger you need to get to DTSA when you get the chance. You won't regret it.
My first time trying a smash burger and I tried the spicy one! It was so dang delicious. I was happy to see a plethora of sauces available and I grabbed some ranch for my fried pickles and got the chipotle sauce which was such a great addition to the already spicy burgers. My gal got the classic and it was definitely easier to hold than my spicy burger but I loved it all the same. Oh man, she had fries as well and I thought they were the perfect amount of salt and crispness. Plenty...
That was one of the best smash burgers I've ever had. I just got the classic. I'll definitely be back while my car is charging in the parking structure a block away. I hope they build one of these by my house.
