Hans' Homemade Ice Cream & Deli

Been here a couple times and only get the dipped, almond crunch cone. It’s pretty good for $6.95. The owners spend little to no time maintaining this location. It’s too bad they don’t invent into presentation of the interior which is glib, stale, old and has a stench to it. I know they’d say they’re focused on ice cream which is mid tier at best. If you want top tier ice cream, hit up Salt & Straw.

The parlor is dated and musty. No samples given and the ice cream is average.

So freaking good! Just go... Now! Seriously, creamy delicious homemade ice cream. I'm an ice cream snob; this place does not disappoint.

Really good ice cream.

Old time feel, quick service, good ice cream that ain't too sweet. A little expensive at 14.25 a quart and the place is a bit dusty and unkempt. They also don't do samples and small/half scoops, which every other ice cream shop has figured out how to add into their workflow.

This place seemed to be better a few years ago.

The one ice cream on a come I love is never made anymore. They always say it gets sold out,so I took off a few days from work just to see. Then there excuse was it was not selling so they are holding off on making it . Really,I don't believe that ,it's just the new lady staff. I really mean that. I walk in and it use to feel like family back in the days. Now the young staff are all on there phones and don't even greet you when you walk in. Really rude and no longer a fun place to come visit .

We wanted to like this place. Since we just moved to the neighborhood we were looking for our new spot. The place could be great but unfortunately you are welcomed by a ton of signs that say no free samples all over the place and a sign on the toppings that says "don't tap the glass it scares the ice cream. " lol. It would be funny if the other signs were not present. The staff was not really happy to be there and besides the signs the atmosphere looked like the set of the show "cheers" only nobody knows your name or cares that you are there. On to the ice cream, it has potential but is lacking sugar. Not very sweet. I had the unicorn and the cookie butter, I couldn't really tell the difference. Bruesters is much better and the staff is nice and happy. Plus, and I can't stress this enough, FREE SAMPLES!!!!!! The fact that this place didn't have free samples tells me that they don't really have faith in their product that people will buy it. Makes sense to me after I have eaten it. I will try it again in 6 months in the hopes they read this.

It's a nice little hole in the wall.
The black raspberry cheesecake was delicious. It was very rich and creamy.
