Upon arriving in CA, my husband and I dined at Lan Huong. The food quality, ambiance, and service were all good. The food servings were too large for each of us. It took me a while to consume my food and feel stuffed. We were happy 😊
I arrived close to closing time and ordered the Cơm Tấm Đặc Biệt. Honestly, nothing really stood out about the dish. The pork was a bit too salty for my taste, but it was tender and juicy. I appreciated that they served sweet and sour kimchi cabbage instead of the usual cucumbers and tomatoes. The restaurant is a good choice for small groups, and there’s plenty of parking available.
Been here twice and tried a number of dishes. The parking lot is a little sketch sometimes but the service is always great. They some specialty dishes that I don't see everywhere and I love they open early. Vietnamese breakfast, yes please. Every dish I've had taste a lot cleaner/healthier than the other places in OC. This used to be a coffee shop and they swapped to just restaurant because their food was being raved about. I'm a fan.
