June's Cafe is a true hidden gem tucked between the gentrified corners and the traditional soul of Santa Ana — and honestly, it captures the best of both worlds.

The deep-fried French toast is a must-try: crispy on the outside, soft and indulgent on the inside — basically dessert disguised as breakfast. I also had the avocado omelette, which was super fresh and flavorful, with the perfect balance of creamy and savory.

I’m obsessed...
We’ve been twice and it has consistently been good, so I would recommend if you’re looking for a mom and pop style cafe near DTSA.

In-depth review:
- hamburger and fries at $12.50 is a fair price and taste as expected, and the country fried steak and eggs at around $15 is also decent. Spontaneous breakfast this morning with the family. We are visiting from Canada and were craving breakfast. So refreshingly inviting and friendly after a few days of Disney /hotel breakfasts. Kids had Mickey pancakes, husband had an omlette and I had 2 eggs meal. We both loved our meals and the boys were over the moon with mickey pancakes! May have to make a few stops before vacation is over!
