I love a good mole, so I was pleased when the server David brought some chips with mole coloradito on them to the table. I found the mole to be slightly sweet and less spicy than I prefer for a coloradito (although I'm accustomed to the mole from the border, not Oaxaca). But the server brought more chips with mole negro on it to try and it was excellent, so I ordered the mole negro plate. The mole had great depth of flavor and a nice spicy kick, the chicken was tender, and the beans were very flavorful. And their corn tortillas ─ the best indicator of a good Mexican restaurant ─ were fresh off the comal, oversized, soft, and tasty. The only downside was trying to get my wheelchair underneath a table, although they worked hard to accommodate me. I found only one space in the entire restaurant that fit my wheelchair (which fortunately was unoccupied). We also have a disabled parking space right outside the door. Based on my one experience at Casa Oaxaca, I would recommend it to others.

This was our first time at this restaurant and quite frankly, I was not impressed. We literally waited over 30 minutes for our food to be served. When I asked why it was taking so long, all they told me was that the kitchen is small, which didn't make sense since people who arrived 20 minutes after we did got their food almost right away. When we finally received our food, I couldn't enjoy it after the long wait. No apologies from the staff at all either.

Delicious, very courteous service, invitingly generous servings, wouldn't change any of our experience here. parking can be a challenge, yes. but the flavours in everything we ate and shared across the table were rich, layered, intense if you can handle your heat! very glad our family shared the end of a momentous day here. come here with open hearts and appetites.

I went into the restaurant and a male worker came up to me and asked how many people. I told him 2, he said to give him a moment and walked away. He didn’t give me a chance to ask any questions nor told me how long the wait was. I sat with my partner on the chairs outside, right by the door. We were waiting for about 30mins when another couple came and they were sat before us. It was extremely disappointing especially because it was one of our favorite restaurants. But being made to wait for so long and then sit someone else before us who just got there will not be bringing us back.

Amazing service and terrific quality food. It tasted fresh and not too salty but fresh like it was just chopped up and cooked. It reminded me of my grandmother's food and nothing can beat that. And they even have live music performing. Definitely a place to try out.
