I have to say that I had mixed feelings about my visit to the Starbucks located at John Wayne Airport this past Thursday. My server was Robert, and he greeted me with enthusiasm and took care to listen to my special request (decaf with hazelnut flavoring and cream and sugar.) That's where the good times ended. I ended up with a perfect combination of flavoring with cream and sugar, coupled with what I have come to know from Starbucks ... a metallic tasting coffee which...
I want to review the people here not the coffee or service.
A person known to the Starbucks Partner had just experienced a traumatic emotional experience and the Starbucks Partner had a gift for her. Came around to the other side of the counter to genuinely connect from a heartfelt place.
The authentic personal connection I saw was brilliant.
