Upon stepping into the shop, you're pleasantly hit with the fragrances of freshly baked bread, herbs & succulent meats. The ambiance is light, and the service is prompt & friendly. We ordered the grilled pork sandwich & a milk tea. The bread was fresh & Crusty on the outside & soft on the inside. Pork was delicately seasoned & the herbs were fresh! The banh cuon here is the best in this area , or anywhere else for that matter, short of Vietnam. Go to take out only store on Edinger St . $6 per lb of banh cuon. They will give you the bean sprouts and the essential dipping fish sauce.
We often come here on Sundays. you can get very fresh “banh cong” and “banh uot”at affordable prices. the service is rather fast though they charge extra for separating stuff for vegetarians. overall, it is still an excellent store.
